Girls of PostcardMania
So after some stewing some ideas around, we have come up with the perfect gift… we’re making a 2010 calendar featuring our beautiful PostcardMania girls! For those of you who haven’t checked out our website or met any of our staff, we have many “hot” girls who work here J
We submitted the idea to all the girls who work here and told them that we would be holding a judging contest where 12 girls would be selected to have their own month. We received about 23 photo submissions and the judging went underway… unfortunately, I won’t be able to tell you who made it until the calendar comes out, but I wanted to share the pictures of our lovely candidates.
Click Here to see our candidates for the “Girls of PostcardMania” calendar!
Our photo shoot is taking place on October 11th right here at our printing facility. The girls will be running the printing presses, mailing machines, hauling postcards on dolly’s and lots of day to day activities we usually have our men run.

Crisis Busting PostcardMania CEO Educates Business Owners and Entrepreneurs on Recession Proof Marketing
International business coach & entrepreneur, Patrick Valtin kicks off his Economic Crisis US Tour right here in Tampa Bay at the new 23,000 square foot, PostcardMania headquarters on September 19 & 20, 2009.
The Crisis Buster event was developed 5 months ago when Patrick, went to speak in Budapest. He was told by event organizers that they were having trouble selling tickets because people were too concerned about the economic crisis to attend a business seminar. Patrick immediately told the event organizers to promote that he was coming to talk to about the crisis and how to handle it. They promptly sold 1200 tickets for the 3-day seminar!
Seeing how effective and successful the seminar was, bringing it over to the States was a must. By collaborating with some of Tampa Bay’s top successful business professionals, Patrick was able to create an event that will educate attendees on the much-needed subject of how to fight and survive the current economic crisis.
This 2-day seminar and event will include:
Secrets about the economic crisis;
New rules of marketing – why traditional marketing and sales strategies are doomed, and what rules apply now;
A new era of selling – forget the old tricks of the trade; your biggest challenge today is NOT to sell;
Simple but powerful rules of Internet marketing that can help you boost your direct sales results and your income, at low cost and without technical hassle;
The new rules of financial success – find out what you can do now to create financial freedom and certainty – no matter where Wall Street goes…
Guest speakers include Joy Gendusa, founder & CEO of PostcardMania, Pat Clouden, founder of Consumer Energy Solutions and Accelerated Training Solutions, and Christopher Music, registered investment advisor and President of Wealth Advisory Associates.
Not only will PostcardMania CEO, Joy Gendusa, be hosting the 2-day event at her new digs, she will be educating attendees on The New Rules of Marketing – untapped strategies that will multiply your marketing success rate, even in a depressed market. And New Internet Marketing Strategies – how simple, but powerful rules of Internet marketing can help boost your direct sales results and income without technical hassle or costly changes.

Joy Will Be On MSNBC!
Gendusa flew out to New York to shoot the segment at the world-famous 30 Rockefeller Center NBC studios. Anchorwoman JJ Ramberg and Gendusa talk about what designs work best for various types of print marketing such as postcards, flyers and storefront banners. In the interview, Gendusa shares tips and tricks on fonts, graphics, which colors work best together and the overall message.
Earlier this year, “Your Business” did a featured 9-minute segment on Joy and PostcardMania on the subject of ‘Free Marketing Education'. The story got great reviews. Jennifer Hill, Vice President of Astia (a non-profit organization which helps female entrepreneurs find funding) said, “In this economy, consumers are looking for value and they’re looking for people to help them really grow their business. She’s clearly done a great job of establishing herself as an expert and making that energy contagious with her employees.”
Rod Kurtz, Senior Editor of Inc. Magazine said, “she [Joy] is genuinely helping these people and they’re going to come to her and bring in business” when commenting on Gendusa’s free marketing advice blog. So when the time came to look for credible sources for this Sunday’s interview, Gendusa’s name quickly came to mind. Next thing you know, it’s off to New York!
The segment has been rescheduled to air on MSNBC October 11 at 7:30am EST.

PostcardMania Sells President Obama Rubber Ducks?

PostcardMania has recently launched their new online advertising specialties products catalog to help small businesses find other inexpensive ways to reach their market.
Now you ask, what is an advertising specialty? Anything anyone has ever given you at a trade show — logo pens, mugs, hats, even ringtone download cards — branded products that help to keep you in the minds of your customers and prospects long after they hang up with your salesperson or leave your meeting.
“As we’ve all seen, sales cycles are getting longer in today’s market as prospects keep an eye on every penny and do even more extensive research than ever before,” says Joy Gendusa, CEO of PostcardMania. “We found that you need a marketing tactic that separates you from everyone else in addition to your regular marketing, great products and superior service. That’s where promotional products come in.”

Much like direct mail, promotional items are a time-tested advertising tactic. Who would you remember more, the insurance agent with a business card or the agent that gives you a mug or mouse pad with his logo on it that sits on your desk and is handled frequently? It’s a no-brainer and it doesn’t have to be expensive!
PostcardMania now offers great low prices on personalized promotional products from pens, kitchen sets, hats, coasters and much more — all from one trusted source!
Increase your closing percentage, your reorder rate or increase the goodwill factor of long-time customers!

Do You WISH You Were a Marketing Expert?
“You are an expert at what you do, but it takes more than a great product or service to make a successful business. You also need great marketing,” says Gendusa. “It can be a bit daunting to figure out where to start and what you really do need — that’s why I’ve come up with this easy-to-use checklist.”
The majority of marketing checklists that are available today usually touch on one form of marketing such as Direct Mail. Checklists such as these can be very helpful, but only cover one aspect. Gendusa’s marketing checklist covers what any business owner and entrepreneur needs to successfully and effectively market to their target audience. You’ll see what you should have in place depending on whether you consider yourself a beginner or intermediate, and you’ll even get a glimpse of what the really advanced marketers are doing. Throughout the checklist you will see links to take you to web pages that explain more about the topic such as:
• Market Research
• Direct Mail
• Websites and other Internet Tools
• Email Marketing
• Social Media Networking
• Goals/Budgeting
• Tracking Results
Using this powerful and effective checklist, business owners and entrepreneurs will be marketing experts in no time!

Live and Alive: PostcardMania Knows How to Put On One Heck of a Party
The party was poppin’ with an open bar, live DJ, and even PostcardMania’s own hip-hop dance group, “The Maniacs” performed to an original PostcardMania rap. Anyone who’s anyone attended including city Council Member Cretekos, Miss Florida and other city officials.
PostcardMania not only threw a great party for the attending guests, but they also went live with a digital Grand Opening for those who couldn’t make it. Working closely with social media PR company, Richter 10.2, PostcardMania captured the entire event with live streaming video and shared the experience on sites like Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and YouTube. Viewers didn’t miss a beat, from the ribbon cutting ceremony to the dance performance, to one-on-one interviews with guests, etc.
So, why is PostcardMania doing this you ask? According to Co-founder and CEO of Richter 10.2, Robert Cornish, “Social media has changed the way companies communicate with their target audience and has changed the relationships to make them more engaging and interactive. We have simply used these tools effectively for our clients by engaging their target audience and building relationships. We understand public relations (PR) is about relations with the public and that is our approach to social media and new media.”
Company interaction has always been a key part for PostcardMania and the recent Grand Opening was definitely a prime example!
